Alannah Thornburgh is a harpist from Co. Mayo. In 2016, she graduated from Maynooth University with a degree in Music and English, majoring in performance, and was awarded with the 'Music Class Prize' for obtaining the best results in her class. Alannah has toured Ireland, America, and parts of Europe and is an All-Ireland champion in solo and group settings. Alannah is a member of the band Alfi, a fresh new trio who combine Irish traditional and Appalachian music and song to produce a unique and tasteful sound. Alfi were the winners of the Caoimhin O Dochartaigh stage at Imbolc International Festival in 2019. They released their debut EP Wolves in the Woods in May following the release with a successful tour around Ireland and the UK.
