Lose yourself in these fun, hands-on environmentally-themed music workshops and unleash your creativity by turning waste materials into basic percussive and tuned musical instruments.

Our relationship with waste and our role in caring for the planet will be explored through fun musical exercises, song singing and up-cycling. Using their newly created instruments, participants will explore music-making as the Trash Bash Band.

Note: No musical experience or training necessary. Please bring your own waste materials.

For the workshop on 6 February we have partnered with The Environmental Gathering – an annual event that gives activists, campaigners and interested individuals a space to share experiences, ideas and plans around the protection of our environment from catastrophe and our climate from breakdown.

The Environmental Gathering takes place at St. Columb’s Park House from 1:00pm-5:00pm on Saturday 9 February. Everyone welcome!
